Customer Services Officer: ICE Direct

We have branches in airports, train stations and high streets around the world and offer multiple online travel money services, including orders for home delivery or in-store collection, along with our prepaid ICE Clear card.

ICE currently has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Customer Service Officer to join the team based in Leicestershire.

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated person with a passionate approach to customer service which is at the heart of what we do. You will be the first point of contact for customers that may wish to place an order, have a general inquiry or complaint. The Customer Services Officer will provide a prompt, efficient and knowledgeable service in all situations and as the voice of the Company, will remain professional at all times, promoting an unparalleled level of service to the customer in line with company expectations to our valued customers. The successful candidate will be energetic, numerate, responsible and reliable and able to demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure.

You will be required to work on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 41 Hours per week between the hours of 08.20 – 16.30 and provide a 5 year employment reference history.

We are looking for people with the following skills, however full training is provided;

  • Minimum 1 year proven Customer Service experience.
  • Minimum 1 year proven Call Centre Experience, ideally in financial services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to handle difficult and stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
  • Demonstrate an ability to gain an understanding of a customer’s needs
  • Can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team
  • Able to work on own initiative and to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
