1. What exchange rate will I get/will it be the rate I see online?

The discounted rate you receive will be calculated on the day of collection, not the day of printing the voucher. As is clearly stated, the rates shown on your voucher are indicative rate only. The exchange rate will not however vary dramatically to that shown online providing you pickup your currency within 24 hours, as it will only change in-line with the FX markets.

2. How can I pay?

You can pay for your Click and Collect order in sterling cash or Visa® and Mastercard® debit/credit cards at your chosen ICE branch.

3. Are there any commission or card charges?

We will not charge you any commission for using the Click and Collect service, but your card issuer may charge you a Cash Advance fee for using your debit/credit card for purchasing the currency. For further information about what fees you may incur for purchasing currency within the UK, please contact your card issuer.

4. Will I need proof of identity to collect my currency?

Yes, you must provide one of the following forms of ID when you arrive at your selected ICE branch:

  • Full passport and signature
  • Current UK photo card driving license
  • Current EU members state ID with photo
  • Building Industry sub-contractors' registration card issued by Inland Revenue
5. Can I show the Click & Collect voucher on my phone, tablet or other mobile device?

Yes, this is perfectly acceptable.

6. Do I need to pre-order the currency?

The ICE Click and Collect service is not a pre-order service; it is a voucher redemption scheme. Obtaining a voucher online prior to collecting your travel money allows you to purchase Euros or US Dollars - and other selected currencies at certain branches - at a discounted exchange rate at the ICE branch of your choice (subject to availability).

7. If I print the voucher do I have to be the one to collect the foreign currency?

No, the voucher is not assigned to any specific person, so anyone with a voucher can get the discounted rates.

8. Can I pay before I go to the branch?

No, for Click & Collect you may only pay on collection.

9. Is it only Euros and US Dollars that I can get discounted rates on?

Click & Collect rates are applicable for Euro and US Dollar currency banknotes (not Travellers Cheques or the ICE Travellers Cashcard) at all ICE Click & Collect branches, but certain branches now offer discounted rates on other currencies. Please check your voucher for more information.

12. Will the ICE branch have the amount of currency I want in stock?

All ICE branches participating in the Click & Collect service aim to have ample stocks at all times, but due to the increasing popularity of the Click and Collect service, we may on occasions be unable to give you the exact amount of currency or denominations you require.
